Nature | Apple Picking

Over the weekend, we met my parents at Applecrest Farm in Hampton Falls, NH. The farm is well-known for their fall festival that runs each weekend from September through October.

This was our first time at the farm and we were amazed at the size - so much land! The apple orchards are far away from the main entrance, so we boarded the tractor trailers for a fun ride on the dirt roads, past all the farm's other crops.

After we stuffed our bag full of apples, we rode back down to the festival, where we picked up some pumpkins and other produce, while enjoying the live bluegrass band. And I finally got my first cider donut and hot apple cider of the season - hooray!

And when we headed back home, we drove past more beautiful farmland - I couldn't resist snapping a photo of these horses:

  1. I just LOVE the second photo with the red tree and the red tractor. It just sums up everything I love about autumn. Love your blog! X Jane
